#WhoAmI Stories – from GaladrielGrace.com
For my Writing is Art Magazine I want everyone to be able to be a part of it. I don’t want it for just “the best” writers – of course, we want the writing to be good, clear and concise – but, at the same time, I want people to be able to express themselves without worrying about perfect grammar, syntax, or if their work is good enough. I’m 44 years old and I’ve spent the majority of those years thinking I was never good enough for anyone or anything. I don’t want my readers or anyone who sends their work to my magazine to worry about being good enough.
That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t send your best work – please, always do your best. But that’s half the point with the magazine title – Writing is Art – just the same as painting, drawing, music, etc.
We have rules, guides – we learn them, so we can bend them, break them, and express ourselves despite them.
So this is a way I want people to be able to express themselves – I want to know – who are you?
We can post short bits on Twitter – and you can send me your stories.
Everyone in the creative community, writers, artists, and musicians – tell me #WhoAmI – in your story.
Let’s keep it around 1,000 words or so.
I want to publish as many stories as I can each month.
