Pooket Press is our children’s book imprint. We only publish books which will have a positive impact on children – we do not believe in feeding children stories that are not suited for their age, but at the same time our books are not condescending or coddling. Many of our children’s books have Christian values – without either preaching or damning, but often allegorical. Our stories focus on the same moral standards with good vs evil, as Tolkien and CS Lewis.

You will not find any gender-bending, swearing, sexual content, or questioning of parental authority in books at Pooket Press.

Our books at Pooket Press do have healthy doses of humor, death, good conquering evil, and-other than books written specifically for small children-an above 8th grade reading level. 

We believe that children’s books should be held at a higher standard than anything else. Children’s stories should teach, guide, encourage, and convey understanding with integrity and goodness.
